I graduated from Te Pukenga Wintec in 2024 with Bachelor of Contemporary Art. Here I was encouraged to tell my story with the stroke of a brush, glazing with colour and contrasting ‘everything’.
My art practice of painting with oil-based colour revolves largely around expressing my life experiences and impressions onto a two-dimensional surface. I aim to tell the story of my life as a world sailor by utilising colour, line and perspective with layers of time spent on the ocean, walking beaches and living in a much-enjoyed marine environment.
